Carolina Holdings Inc. announced the development of a Starbucks coffee shop and Verizon Wireless outlet on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer.

Medical Data Services of Greenville has been designated the first South Carolina dealer of eClinicalWorks, software that helps physicians manage electronic health records.

MaintainIT Ltd., a Greenville company that provides plant and maintenance services, announced a contract with AFL Telecommunications, a cable and wire maker, to implement a maintenance and reliability improvement program. MaintainIT will perform a front-end condition assessment of AFL's strander equipment used for cable braiding production.

Caviness Lambert Engineering LLC was selected to provide design services for the new fire tower at the Swannanoa Fire Station #6 located in Swannanoa, N.C.
