eClinicalWorks Picks NaviSite
Will provide managed services offering with an offsite disaster recovery and business continuity planning solution.
NaviSite, Inc., a provider of IT hosting, outsourcing and professional services, today announced that eClinicalWorks has selected NaviSite for a managed services offering as well as an offsite disaster recovery and business continuity planning solution.
NaviSite says that it will design, build and manage eClinicalWorks' eClinicalWeb Application Service Provider (ASP) infrastructure and the eClinicalWeb Patient Portal. The ASP provides physician practices anywhere access to the eClinicalWorks' unified solution for practice management, electronic medical records and document management. The Patient Portal lets patients and doctors communicate easily, safely, and securely over the Internet.
According to eClinincalWorks, it will utilize NaviSite's data centers to house its company's data and maintain a managed disaster recovery and business continuity planning solution.
"NaviSite has partnered with us to customize a solution for the eClinicalWeb ASP and Patient Portal, which set them apart from the competition in our evaluation process," said Girish Kumar Navani, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, eClinicalWorks.
