Ohio Hospital chain picks eClinicalWorks health record system
AKRON, OH - Summa Health Systems (www.summahealth.org) will use electronic medical records and practice management system created by Westboro-based eClinicalWorks (www.eclinicalworks.com). Summa is one of the largest hospital chains in the Buckeye State, comprising roughly 1,100 health providers at Akron City, St. Thomas and Cuyahoga Falls General hospitals. The system includes a “patient portal” that allows physicians and doctors to communicate more easily and review health care documents online.
