eClinicalWorks Retains Position as a Top EMR and Practice Management Solution in KLAS 2006 Mid-year Report

100 Percent of Respondents Stated They Would Purchase eClinicalWorks Again and Recommend the Solution to a Friend/Peer

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.—July 11, 2006—eClinicalWorks™, a leading provider of unified ambulatory clinical information systems, today announced that KLAS Enterprises’ “Top 20: 2006 Mid-Year Report Card” has named eClinicalWorks as a top electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management (PM) solution—ranking the company first in the Ambulatory EMR (1-5 Physicians) category and one of the top for Ambulatory Billing and Scheduling (1-5 Physicians). eClinicalWorks received the same rankings in 2005, holding its position as a top vendor in this highly competitive market.

The KLAS Top 20 summary of performance data has been collected over the past 13 months from healthcare professionals and I.T. executives. The information is primarily derived from customers that are using the solutions discussed. In this report, 100 percent of eClinicalWorks customers stated that they would purchase eClinicalWorks again and recommend the solution to a friend or peer.

“KLAS’s reports are among the most respected in the healthcare industry, helping providers select the best technology solutions for their operations,” said Girish Kumar Navani, president of eClinicalWorks. “The high rankings eClinicalWorks has received the past few years and the wonderful support our customers have demonstrated in this survey is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the entire eClinicalWorks team in providing a technologically superior, yet affordable, EMR and practice management solution. We are honored to be recognized in such a prestigious fashion by KLAS and our customers.”

Companies included in the KLAS survey must have an available healthcare solution as well as a participating client base large enough to produce statistically significant results. The Mid-Year Report Card reflects healthcare information technology company and product performance data as reported by integrated delivery networks, large clinics and acute care facilities.
