eClinicalWorks Hosts Third Annual Customer Roundtable
November 2-4, 2006 marked the Third Annual eClinicalWorks Customer Roundtable. Located at The International, a prestigious private club that is known for having the world’s longest golf course, and near the eClinicalWorks headquarters, this serves as an opportunity to sit down with our clients and discuss ways to further improve eClinicalWorks. We received an overwhelming response this year, causing us to modify this year’s format and limit the number of attendees to 100.
In all, approximately 50 practices were represented, with specialties including primary care, pediatrics, allergy, cardiology, dermatology, ENT, gastroenterology, internal medicine, Ob/Gyn, orthopedics, urgent care, urology and multi-specialty practices. The Roundtable was broken into an EMR track and one for Practice Management. Within these separate tracks were educational and roundtable sessions, where not only did attendees receive a preview of the latest functionality of our solutions, but also contributed their thoughts and hopes for the future.
“All major product enhancements come from our users,” said Girish Kumar Navani, president of eClinicalWorks. “These annual sessions provide invaluable insight and feedback to what our customers are looking for in future versions and how best to serve them. They also serve as a place for users to get together and provide each other tips and shortcuts for how they use the product within their practice.”
Initial feedback from the Roundtable has been positive:
“It is a pleasure being part of the eClinicalWorks community. The EMR serves as a wonderful tool in the workplace, but it is much more than that. It is truly a community of users and eClinicalWorks staff working together to continually shape the product for the future.” – Dr. David Gorelick
“The eClinicalWorks users’ meeting was an awesome venue for learning more about the product, and for providing the customers’ perspective on future improvements and modifications. I came away from the meeting with a ‘good feeling’ that the principals of the company are truly committed to improving the product.” – Dr. Anthony Mercando
