eClinicalWorks Opens New York City Office

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.—SEPTEMBER 17, 2007— eClinicalWorks™, a market leader in unified EMR/PM systems, today announced the opening of a new location in New York City. Currently, the company is headquartered in Westborough, Mass. and has an additional office in Alpharetta, Ga. The New York City location will serve to centrally manage and implement its electronic health records solutions at physician’s practices in the greater-New York City area and will initially be staffed with 30 employees.

“eClinicalWorks has enjoyed impressive growth over the past several years,” said Girish Kumar Navani, president of eClinicalWorks. “This office is the latest symbol of that expansion and will permit us to better serve our current and future clients in the greater New York area.”

2007 has ushered in significant growth at eClinicalWorks in several areas. The company’s employee count has hit 550 and it has been ranked the fourth fastest-growing software company in the United States by the 2007 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies. eClinicalWorks Electronic Health eXchange solution was launched and deployed in North Adams, Mass. as part of the Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative, connecting the physicians in that town. In April, the company signed a $19.8 million deal with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to bring its unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) software to 1,300 physicians in the City. eClinicalWorks’s New York City office will help manage this project.

eClinicalWorks’s new office is located at 22 Cortlandt Street, 16th Floor, New York, 10007.
