eCLINICALWORKS SELECTED BY IOWA REGIONAL EXTENSION CENTER

Award-winning Electronic Health Records (EHR) Company Selected as Preferred Vendor

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.—July 7, 2010—eClinicalWorks®, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, today announced that Iowa’s Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center, has selected eClinicalWorks unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) system as a preferred ambulatory vendor for its primary care providers state-wide.

"EHR selection can be a difficult task for providers when there are over 200 EHR products available in the marketplace. The national REC program has granted $598 million to establish 60 centers. This will bring together group practices, critical access hospitals, community health centers and relation healthcare organizations through sustainable two-year grants.
