Our vision is to run eClinicalWorks as an independent, profitable, successful and private organization for years to come.

eClinicalWorks Mission
Make a change by dedicating our professional careers to improving healthcare by providing technology and services to reduce costs, reduce errors and improve the quality of care.”

In the next 10 years, eClinicalWorks projects that 100,000 providers will be using the company’s software, impacting patient care for 100 million patients.

Well-established Company
eClinicalWorks is a privately-held, profitable company that focuses on establishing long-term relationships with customers, serving them in six different time zones--from Hawaiian to Eastern. The company has had no debt since inception and has been profitable every quarter since 2000. Remaining a private company with no outside investors means that eClinicalWorks is focused solely on customers and not distracted by Wall Street or venture capitalists.

The company’s success spurred a Harvard Business School case study, titled “eClinicalWorks: The Paths to Growth,” by Professor Robert F. Higgins that is available at www.harvardbusinessonline.com.

eClinicalWorks employs more than 800 people across its Westborough, Mass., headquarters and New York and Georgia offices.

Customer Base and Specialties
eClinicalWorks is ideal for practices of all sizes: large hospital systems use eClinicalWorks for their affiliated physicians; large and small health systems; large and medium medical group practices, including FQHCs and community health centers; and small and solo provider practices all benefit from this system. Its EMR/PM solution has been deployed in all 50 states, with more than 30,000 providers using eClinicalWorks. The company has a 98.9% renewal rate based on figures from maintenance contracts and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) renewal agreements – one of the highest customer retention rates in the country.

eClinicalWorks customers are physicians in primary care practices as well as nearly every specialty. Most verticals, from private practices and health centers to hospital and health centers, are experiencing benefits from eClinicalWorks EMR/PM system.

“We deploy our system into practices of all sizes, offering just as much attention to detail to the solo provider practice as we do for our enterprise customers,” said Girish Kumar Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “This focus to individual providers has maintained our customers’ trust in the company and has been the secret to our success.”

Awards
eClinicalWorks is a highly decorated application, winning dozens of awards over the years, including numerous TEPR awards and being named Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in 2008 and 2007. Our customers are being recognized for the success they have had using eClinicalWorks, with two customers receiving 2008 HIMSS Davies Awards, which honor excellence in implementing electronic health records (EHRs).

Independent Online User’s Forum
Does the provider you are considering offer the chance to see the good, the bad and the ugly prior to a purchase?

The eClinicalWorks User’s Forum is a wonderful place where physicians and practice managers communicate openly and freely with one another in an unbiased, unmediated open forum, sharing information and requests for enhancements.

Please visit www.eCWUsers.com to exchange tips and techniques, express dissatisfaction about anything concerning eClinicalWorks, get answers to questions and extend knowledge into the eClinicalWorks community.

The Users Forum was started by an independent physician and continues to prove that eClinicalWorks listens to our customers!

It is a pleasure being part of the eClinicalWorks community. The EMR serves as a wonderful tool in the workplace, but it is much more than that. It is truly a community of users and eClinicalWorks staff working together to continually shape the product for the future.” Dr. David Gorelick, Aquidneck Medical Associates, Newport, RI
