Document Management: Features put patient and practice document control at your fingertips. Forms features let you create digital patient-based or practice-based forms; document management features streamline document storage and retrieval. Faxing and scanning features make it easy to store, review, and access scanned or faxed documents.
Patient-centric View: The Patient-centric View encompasses the Patient Dashboard and the Chart Panel. These views are available when you need them the most—when working on Telephone Encounters, reviewing Lab Results, signing off on scanned documents, and most of all when documenting a visit. This view save clicks, time and effort by updating the patient’s chart directly from the Chart Panel. While ordering a medication, the patient’s weight is immediately available to you from the Patient Dashboard and when a patient calls with a reaction to a medication, the chart is quickly updated using the Chart Panel.
Registry Reporting: The Registry gives the flexibility to perform searches of their patient population from the most basic to highly detailed and complex queries using multiple filters to narrow the results. Continue to refine your search by searching for information on result sub-sets and save searches to be reused over time. Searches may be conducted based on patient demographics, vitals, labs, diagnosis, procedures, medications, medical history, immunizations and appointments. Users can create alerts for patients based on registry searches.
Progress Notes: Generate clean, easy to read and professional consultation or progress notes. Progress notes can be printed in traditional S.O.A.P. or in the order of Assessment, Plan, Subjective and Objective. Users have the option to include a consult report or consult request letter and customize section titles as appropriate for your practice and specialty. Default preferences are set for your desired note style.
e-Prescribing and Formulary: Customers can have a direct link with the computer at the pharmacy (not the fax machine), establishing a two-way electronic connection. This allows prescription refill requests to be sent directly to eClinicalWorks, not a practice’s phone or fax machine, alleviating the need for staff to transcribe and log them in. Connectivity is facilitated through a connection to the Pharmacy Health Information Exchange™, operated by SureScripts®. This is the nation’s largest electronic prescribing network, with more than 30,000 community pharmacies connected. Formulary check allows medicine to be prescribed based on patient formulary, reducing pharmacy calls, while increasing patient satisfaction and providing cost-effective care.
Patient Visit Summary with Out of Office Visits: Quickly document surgeries, nursing home visits and any other encounters occurring outside of the office. Customers can create templates for most common types of visits, allowing a new visit to be added quickly by copying a previous encounter.
