A Living Guide to eClinicalWorks
eCliniWiki is the latest offering by eClinicalWorks, providing a living guide for customers to obtain and update online information, and interact with individuals using eClinicalWorks products. Customers can register for eCliniWiki at no cost through the Support Portal.
A Wiki is a website that allows any user to add, edit or delete content. This results in a collaborative and perpetually refreshing repository of information on a particular subject. eCliniWiki provides users with information on how to use all aspects of eClinicalWorks, permit customers to update those documents and share insight into how the features are utilized in a given practice.
eCliniWiki contains information related to all aspects of the eClinicalWorks solution. Additional information on associated software and hardware is also contained in eCliniWiki; however, the exact information contained in the Wiki is up to customers. The site has been pre-populated with a range of information from guides and the users’ forum, but users are encouraged to add their own topics, as well as enhance existing topics with their own hints, tips and comments.
“The introduction of eCliniWiki is a great step forward for both eClinicalWorks and its user community,” said Frank Ross, office manager for Ross Family Medicine. “The development came through discussions between the company and customers on the users’ forum as a way to provide users with access to both eClinicalWorks documentation and the many ideas that are posted on the forum by members. The Wiki format is ideal for combining both technical and practical information, forming a better reference source for both users and developers. Improved communication is only possible when all affected parties are open to enhancing the means of correspondence. Once again, eClincalWorks has shown the willingness to improve its system, through better communication.”
