RFP Writer

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Answer and edit detailed RFP's, RFI's and questionnaires from prospective clients and consultants
  • Update and maintain RFP templates
  • Work with the RFP Manager to improve RFP processes and procedures
  • Answer ad hoc requests and assist with special projects as needed

Background Requirements:  

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in answering RFP’s within the Electronic Medical Records industry
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills required
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast pace environment while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
  • Project management skills with the ability to marshal resources, communicate and manage timelines and responsibilities and make necessary changes to ensure accurate delivery of a product
  • High degree of integrity with the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality
  • Ability to manage tasks independently to closure

Technical Writer

Summary:

An industry-leading practice management (PM) and electronic medical records (EMR) software firm with an agile development model seeks an experienced technical writer to join an existing documentation team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

This position is contract-to-hire with an initial contract duration of 3 months leading to a full-time position for the qualified candidate. The position is full time during normal business hours on site at our Westboro, Massachusetts office.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Responsible for writing, structuring, and updating PM and EMR software documentation for both new and experienced end-users. Must work closely with product managers, developers and other technical staff members to create and maintain product user guides, training manuals, release notes, tutorials, and other documentation for internal and external distribution.

Qualifications:  

  • 3+ years experience as a technical writer in a software documentation role
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker 7.0 or later
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and MS Office, especially Outlook and MS Word
  • Proficiency with image editing tools such as Corel PaintShop Pro or Adobe PhotoShop
  • Degree in English, Communications, or other related fields preferred
  • Previous experience with Adobe Captivate software preferred
  • Knowledge of wiki environments/development is a plus
  • Previous medical and/or medical billing experience is a significant plus

Captivate Tutorial Producer

Summary:

An industry-leading practice management (PM) and electronic medical records (EMR) software firm with an agile development model seeks an experienced tutorial producer/technical writer to create PM and EMR workflow tutorials using Adobe Captivate software and other image editing tools. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, recording, and updating PM and EMR workflow tutorials for trainers, clients and other end-users. Must work closely with product managers, developers and other subject matter experts to document a series of workflow processes, and then produce brief screen-capture Captivate tutorials with recorded audio voiceovers. Must be willing to assist documentation team with technical writing duties on a limited, as-needed basis.

Qualifications:  

  • 3+ years experience as a tutorial producer and/or technical writer in a software documentation role

Operation Research Analyst

Responsibilities Include:  

  • Plan, direct and coordinate company’s organizational structure.
  • Manage company’s budget, scheduling, cost and resource analysis.
  • Target potential customers with completed business proposals for business development and implement eClinicalWorks software at small, medium and large healthcare customer sites.
  • Formulate and manage team and meet the customer requirements.
  • Develop program schedules, time lines, resource requirements, milestones for both the internal eClinicalWorks team as well as external third party logistics and the client.
  • Coordinate data migration, clearing house enrollment, installation, lab interface, development and training for the clients.

Background Requirements:  

  • Masters or equivalent in Business Administration or other related field.

Medical Systems Support Analyst

Responsibilities and Qualifications Include:  

  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and all other data processing problems for eClinical electronic data processing systems (EMR).
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
  • Responsible for coordinating changes to databases, testing and implementing databases, perform database analysis, and building database of which the content will contain medical terms.
  • Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.
  • Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of eClinicalWorks EMR products.
  • Use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client/server applications development processes and multimedia and Internet technology.
  • Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.
  • Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
  • Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.
  • Train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs.

Requirements:
Masters or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering., Medical Engine/technology, Computer Engineering or other related field.


Field Sales Representative

eClinicalWorks is looking for top sales candidates in major territories across the US. These positions are to sell our award-winning product line to all size practices from solo practitioners to full enterprise healthcare facility/hospital system. You will also be required to manage current installed account base and develop/generate new business.

Interested candidates should have 2+ years successful (meeting or beating sales quota/objectives) sales experience in EMR and practice management. BS degree or equivalent industry experience required. Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally. The ideal candidate should have excellent sales presentation and communications skills, PC and IT-savvy.

Network Engineer – Atlanta, GA

The Network Engineer is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of all aspects of the Atlanta’s ASP network architecture and infrastructure, including but not limited to, the co-location facility, citrix server farm and LAN/WAN network. Includes network design, implementation, testing, analysis, security, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities and Qualifications Include:

  • Installs, configures and documents new network servers and workstations in Windows 2000/2003 and XP, Citrix Metaframe XP and ICA clients, including application publishing.
  • Installs, configures, and tests application interfaces.
  • Implements equipment upgrades and system patches.
  • Maintains data access security, including Netscreen firewall implementation & configuration.
  • Troubleshoots and monitors network performance, hardware and software failures.
  • Provides second/third tier support to internal and external customers via telephone and on site.
  • Responsible for client hardware configurations and installations.
  • Makes recommendations for disaster recovery including backup, virus and spyware solutions.
  • Bachelor or Technical Degree and 5+ years supporting an IT production environment, or 7+ years equivalent experience required.
  • CCNA, CCNP, CCEA, MCSE, Linux Certifications/Knowledge preferred.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with technology infrastructure components including Microsoft Server Operating Systems, MYSQL and Tomcat.
  • Detailed knowledge of MS Security devices, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and Network and Systems Monitoring tools/packages.
  • Extensive knowledge of DNS, HTTP, SMTP, TCP/IP.
  • Proven trouble reporting, incident management, and change control skill set is recommended.

Senior Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities and Qualifications Include:

  • Provide end to end development in Visual Basic, .NET, JAVA, and J2EE(design, coding, bug fixing, installation, maintenance of multiple feature areas)
  • Key contributor to module design, vision and architecture for the next generation of EMR features
  • Promote quality in design and coding
  • 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer, through multiple product cycles
