eClinicalWorks Selected by Massachusetts Regional Extension Center

Westborough, Mass. — September 9, 2010 — eClinicalWorks®, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, today announced that Massachusetts e-Health Institute (MeHI), the state’s Regional Extension Center, has selected eClinicalWorks unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) system as a preferred vendor for its primary care providers state-wide. eClinicalWorks has also been selected by MeHI as a certified Implementation Optimization Organization (IOO) . As an IOO, eClinicalWorks will provide comprehensive implementation services to help Massachusetts providers get to meaningful use.

The national REC program has granted $598 million to establish 60 centers. This will bring together group practices, critical access hospitals, community health centers and relation healthcare organizations through sustainable two-year grants.
