New Technology Allows Physicians to Access Up-to-date Clinical Information Directly from Patients’ Electronic Medical Records
Waltham and Westborough, Mass.—October 28, 2007— UpToDate, the leading evidence-based electronic clinical information resource, and eClinicalWorks™, a market leader in unified EMR/PM systems, today announced a partnership to provide physicians with access to UpToDate directly through the eClinicalWorks electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management (PM) solution. This integration allows physicians who have access to UpToDate and eClinicalWorks EMR/PM Version 7.6 or higher to receive answers to clinical questions quickly and easily, without having to close out of the patient record.
