Dermatology Made Easier This Summer

Sunburns can lead to skin cancer. In the United States, more than 9,500 people are diagnosed with skin cancer every day. But when detected early, the five-year survival rate for melanoma is 99%.
One of the best things you can do in reducing the chances of skin cancer is taking the proper precautions when you know you’re going to be in the sun, like wearing protective clothing and putting on sunscreen. Another important thing is for people to schedule annual physicals and see a dermatologist if anything looks suspicious.
