How the pandemic has strengthened us

For more than 20 years, eClinicalWorks has developed innovative, user-friendly healthcare IT. But, like most of our customers, we have never faced a challenge that can compare to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.

Like medical practices everywhere, we were forced — at very short notice — to rethink every aspect of how we do business. Far from being overwhelmed, we discovered that the foundations of our company were not only sound but capable of supporting new growth:

  • Use of healow TeleVisits for remote patient visits was expanded several times over in the spring of 2020 and has now settled in as a significant and integral part of business for practices across the nation.
  • We developed safer and more convenient ways to book and keep appointments, expanding healow® Open Access® and developing the contactless healow CHECK-IN process.
  • Throughout the pandemic, eClinicalWorks has continued to meet our customers’ needs, including through webinars and remote training on our Patient Engagement tools.
